ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join authors Shauna Robinson, Eva Jurczyk, Sulari Gentill, and C.J. Carey on their Rather Be Reading tour, where they will discuss their books...written about books!

Each author’s recent release is connected to the world of books: from the story of a young editor trying to find her path in Must Loves Books, a bookseller starting an underground book club in The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks, a rare books librarian investigating the disappearance of a rare manuscript in The Department of Rare Books in Special Collections, the race to find a murderer in a group of unlikely friends at Boston Public Library in The Woman in the Library, to the dystopian story of a woman fighting Nazis while being forced to edit books to control the population in Widowland. After the discussion, the authors will sign copies of their books!

The conversation will be moderated by Elizabeth Mizelle. The authors will stay to sign books after the reading and Q&A session.

Additional Information:

- Your reservation includes a seat. Guest MUST purchase at least one of the books on-site to gain admittance into the event.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

SHAUNA ROBINSON's love of books led her to try a career in publishing before deciding she'd rather write books instead. An introvert at heart, she spends most of her time reading, baking, and figuring out the politest way to avoid social interaction. Originally from San Diego, California, she now lives in Virginia with her husband and their sleepy greyhound.

EVA JURCZYK is a writer and librarian living in Toronto. She has written for Jezebel, The Awl, The Rumpus, and Publishers Weekly. The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections is her first novel

After setting out to study astrophysics, graduating in law, and then abandoning her legal career to write books, SULARI GENTILL now grows French black truffles on her farm in the foothills of Australia's Snowy Mountains. Sulari is the author of the Rowland Sinclair historical mystery series and the Ned Kelly award-winner After She Wrote Him.

C. J. CAREY is a novelist, journalist and broadcaster. She has worked at the Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph and the BBC, among others. She also writes novels under the name Jane Thynne and lives in London. Widowland is the first novel she has written as C. J. Carey
